Hi, I’m Katherine, the founder of Virtually Anything VA Services. After spending years refining my skills in admin and customer service roles, I’ve taken the leap into running my own virtual assistant business – a decision inspired by the encouragement of my wonderful clients. When they told me it would be a waste not to continue using my skills to help others, I knew it was time to start something new.

It might be tough to put into words what a virtual assistant can help with, because it can mean a lot of different things to so many different business owners.

Whenever I’m at a networking event, I introduce myself as a Virtual Assistant and I’m met with a bit of a confused look, and the follow up question – what does that mean? One of my first clients described me as a ‘magical admin fairy’. Someone who she could just pass off those little niggly tasks that would have taken her ages or she just didn’t actually want to do and she’d rather be doing the more ‘fun’ parts of her business.

When deciding to set up my own business, I brainstormed loads of different names. I considered using my name, but then what happens if I grew my team? Funny plays on words or even obscure combinations that although had quite a clever meaning, would probably require an explanation each time I decided to use it! So instead I decided to keep it simple and straight to the point. Over the years I’ve helped with all sorts for clients:

– Managing email inboxes and arranging clients calendars
– Designing business cards, leaflets and posters for a client for an upcoming event.
– Researching then launching and producing a podcast
– Researching, Designing and Creating an evergreen presentation for a client that she can utilise whenever she is approached with a speaking opportunity about her services she offers.
– Customer service – nurturing those customer relationships and developing their brand loyalty.

So as you can see I’ve helped clients with all sorts! So I decided to keep the name simple and so ‘Virtually Anything – VA Services’ was born! Over the years I’ve worked in a variety of roles and love learning and developing my skill sets with the latest developments in technology. From leading operations at a local theme park to delivering world-class service during my year at Walt Disney World in Florida, and ensuring patient care in community pharmacy, I’ve always been passionate about helping people. For the last two years, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting small business owners and solopreneurs, helping them free up time so they can focus on what matters most – whether that’s growing their business or spending more time with loved ones.

I’m proud to offer my clients creativity, problem-solving, and sheer determination to deliver the very best service. I understand how important time is – especially as a mum who loves to go on adventures with my little boy, exploring new places and theme parks. Knowing how much I value that time, I want to help others reclaim theirs, so they can focus on what’s most important to them.
